DESCRIPTION:This event runs from Friday\, May 11\, 2012 at 10am through S
 aturday\, July 7\, 2012 at 4:30pm.\n\n Description:\nArtists included in
this exhibition are Donna Beverly\, Margo Eastman\, Miriam Edell\, Aki
Hill\, Peggy Joyce\, Sue Noel\, Andrea Thornberry and Marie Wilson.\n\nO
n a warm and sunny evening in August\, 2009\, a group of women gathered
to discuss an interactive art project. All of these women painted with
acrylic and had varying degrees of experience and technical education.\n
\nThe first step was to look at pieces that each artist brought to the g
athering. Through a voting process\, one piece was chosen from each art
ist to “start a conversation”. Then the fun began.\n\nOver the cour
se of one year\, each of those selected paintings was passed from artist
to artist so a response painting could be created. Although some of th
e artists from that August evening have left the group\, there is now a
collection of conversation-starter-paintings and the responses from each
of the other artists.\n\nThe museum is open Tuesday through Saturday\,
 10:00 – 4:30. Admission is always free!\n\nTags:\nart exhibition\, fr
